Recruitment of Technical and General Support Officer

Hong Kong News-Expo Limited is a non-profit organization established for the revitalization of the Bridges Street Market in Central.  The Grade 3 historic building has been transformed into the Hong Kong News-Expo (HKNE) which is Asia’s first exhibition-cum-education facility with news as the main theme. 

Hong Kong News-Expo Limited is looking for candidates who have the passion to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

·       Perform daily IT support for the News-Expo;

·       Monitor all the IT systems of the News-Expo;

·       Install / update software and systems, and perform relevant tests;

·       Set up IT equipment and systems for the News-Expo;

·       Arrange schedule for IT systems maintenance;

·       Provide IT and logistical support for group visits and large-scale events at News-Expo and outside News-Expo;

·       Manage and update inventory log of IT equipment and other items;

·       Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management;

·       On shift duty

Requirements:

·       Diploma holder or above in computer science or relevant subject with at least 1-2 years’ experience in providing IT support;

·       Knowledge and hands on experience of server, network and Office 365 is a must;

·       Knowledge and experience of interactive games and IT application is a plus;

·       Self-motivated, independent and can work under pressure with minimal supervision;

·       Team player and flexible to liaise with vendors;
