Recruitment of Media Literacy Programme Executive

Hong Kong News-Expo Limited is a non-profit organization established for the revitalization of the Bridges Street Market in Central.  The Grade 3 historic building has been transformed into the Hong Kong News-Expo which is Asia’s first exhibition-cum-education facility with news as the main theme. 

Hong Kong News-Expo Limited is looking for candidates who have the passion to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

·       Spearheading the media education and literacy programmes and development of related programme materials at News-Expo;

·       Conduct media education and literacy lectures and workshops for students and/or the underprivileged;

·       Work as docent supervisor in guided tours;

·       Editing and generating social media contents (including the write-up, photo and/or video editing);

·       Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management; and

·       On shift duty

Requirements:

·       Degree holder with at least 15 years of experience in journalism field, including mass communication, electronic and print media;

·       With at least 10 years of teaching experience in tertiary institutions;

·       Proven experience in producing media literacy and education materials in video and printed format;

·       Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin;

·       Excellent interpersonal, writing and presentation skills;

·       Experience in dealing with stakeholders; and

·       Self-motivated, team player, flexible and enthusiastic about journalism and education
