2017 JEF Scholarship Award Announcement

Journalism Education Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Local Study Scholarship.

Four journalists are awarded this year:

Chan Leong Kwan, TVB

Cheng Kai Yuen, Apple Daily

Tai Pik Yi, Oriental Daily News

Siu Fai Ho, HK01

They will each receive a HK$45,000 scholarship to help cover educational expenses.

Journalism Education Foundation Local Study Scholarship was established in 2008 to provide financial assistance to selected journalists every year to help them further their studies locally, with a view to fulfilling the foundation’s mission of promoting the overall standards of the profession and nurturing talented journalists.
